Photographs for Purchase, Exhibition and Enjoyment
The Labyrinth is two projects. The First Labyrinth Project was a traditional approach to photographing a location. The end result was a series of photographs of a location. By generally accepted criteria, the Project was a success, being accepted for publication in LensWork Extended #64. You may view these photographs by clicking on The Labyrinth Link below.

The Second Labyrinth Project began with the publication in LensWork Extended. The cover page for the portfolio usually contains an image and the photographer's signature. In designing the page, one image did not look right. Using two images did not look right either. Finally, three images were used on the cover page. Because three images were used on the cover page, the distance between the images was drastically reduced. When I saw the three images almost touching, I knew the project was not finished. No Project is complete without an Artist's Statement. Here is a link to the Artist's Statement about the Photographs. I had the choice of where to put the statement and to put it in front of both Projects seemed redundant. It also detracts from the Projects a bit because this is a photographic site. You are here to see the photographs. So once you have seen the photographs, you can read the little essay on the Labyrinth and where I made the photographs.
