Photographs for Purchase, Exhibition and Enjoyment

Single Prints from the Labyrinth

The Labyrinth Photographs were made at Fort Worden and Fort Casey, Coastal Artillery emplacements that defended the only deepwater entrance to Puget Sound. These interconnected underground concrete structures spoke to me of choices to be made. Every photograph presents the viewer with a choice.

Click the link under each picture to view an Adobe© Acrobat version of the pigment on paper print. The Adobe© Acrobat document can be enlarged up to about 200% of it's actual size to allow you to look at the detail included in the print.

The Platinum Palladium print will not have the text and titles printed with the image.

Labyrinth #300

You may go left and up to the light, or to the right into the darkness. Is the opening just in front of you another way out? What information on the walls has been painted over?

Labyrinth #045

Should you ascend the stairs, or explore a darkened doorway? Will the doorway dead end, or take you on another path?

Labyrinth #061

At last, a way out. Or should you explore that entrance off the hall?

Labyrinth #121

You can leave to the right, if you wish. Or should you continue straight ahead to the next room.

Labyrinth #166

Is four significant? What is beyond the opening at the left? Maybe you should leave through the door on the right.

Labyrinth #268

A way out. Or a place to rest with a nice view?
